POKOK is an anthropology-conservation initiative (running from 2017-21) based at Brunel University London and supported by the Arcus Foundation.
Over one million live songbirds, including critically endangered species, are trapped every year in Indonesia.
Of the estimated 400-500 Sumatran tigers remaining in the wild, approximately 150 are found in and around Kerinci Seblat National Park.
